Remote Project Roles and Responsibilities Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services into the AWS platform Lead the technical delivery of highly visible migration and transformational projects from start to finish as a core leader within the delivery team In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute strategies for successful consulting ndash transformationmigration and the overall customer journey to the cloud Support the sales process by occasionally participating in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable them to be cloud advocates Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support organizations BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud ndash AWS specficially Advanced knowledge of the AWS services, including VMC on AWS AWS Architectural Certifications VMWare certifications a plus 8 years designimplementationconsulting experience with distributed applications 4 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and engineers Strong written communication skills. High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations. Preferred Qualifications Industry expert in at least one particular domain, vertical andor platform Migration Architecture and Cloud Project Delivery (required), DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, Serverless computing etc. Experience developing large scale application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments Senior technical leadership role with significant customer facing experience all the way up to C-Level Experience in a customer-facing, sales aligned role, presenting to small and large audiences
