Help Desk – Tier II Arlington, VA MUST Experienced Tier II Help Desk Active Top Secret is required 2 years of recent Deskside Support experience is required (Deskside Desktop support) Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware and associated diagnostic tools to perform remote diagnostics Troubleshoot the need for and implement performance upgrades to PC boxes, including the installation of CPUs, IO and NIC cards, hard disks, hard drives, RAM, memory chips, CD-ROMs Collaborate with LAN techniciansnetwork administrators to activate ports, troubleshoot network connectivity Support and provide feedback to ensure continual process improvement Provide rapid support response for breakfix and requirement requests Familiarity with creating tickets, and following up on tickets once created Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products Support third party software applications Exceptional customer service skills Experience with creating accounts, distribution list and troubleshooting user permissions in Exchange Active Directory CompTIA Security CE is required DUTIES Provide client end-user IT support to the Immediate Office of the client for a high availability, workstation-based, computer network Including a variety of IT and communications capabilities and a complementary mobility solution, which are fully compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) standards-based architectures Work and lead a team of service desk analysts providing support to the client Respond to phone, email, trouble ticket, and walk-up requests Support Windows 10, mobile, and other technologies Fast-paced environment serving high-level executives and VIPs requires exceptional communication and customer relations abilities Coordinate and execute IT support for CONUSOCONUS travel Assist with preparing travel equipment (mobile deviceslaptops) and assist with Aircraft communications Able to communicate with Senior Officials Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
