Position Mainframe Programmer Analyst-JCL Job type 6 Months Contract- Remote for now Location Omaha, NE Job Responsibilities Create Transmission JCL and scripting on Mainframe and midrange environments Strong knowledge of Sterling File Gateway and business process development Communicates directly with client, testing of files, researching file failures and advanced problem identification and resolution Responsible for setting up and analyzing the transmission process, abends and resolving issue with client in lead capacity Knowledge of ConnectDirect and SFG using SFTPFTPS software with SSHSSL Extended knowledge of SSL Certificate and key build and implementations Knowledge of transmission JCL with experience using ConnectDirect on Mainframe and distributed environments Provide solutions to unique setups on SFG, working with clients and internal Application teams Knowledge of scripting and database automations procedures Ability to run trace routes and complete network debugging (PYTHON) Candidate Requirements Bachelorrsquos degree or higher in computer or electrical engineering, or similar field Minimum of two yearsrsquo experience in system engineering Self-motivated and work well independently Prior Server Admin experience In-depth knowledge of data structures and ability to analyze data to solve problems Organization and multi-tasking skills that strike a balance among validationverification, requirements analysis, customer interaction and project oversight Flexible and easily adaptable Strong technical and service level abilities
