Release Manager needed to drive release windows and cycles across a portfolio of mission critical applications. We are a high velocity organization with important go-live dates looming that cannot be missed. Responsibilities will encompass Conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business GoNo-Go reviews Producing Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans Coordinating release content and efforts based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, andor operating system updates Maintaining release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors Participating in Change Advisory Board meetings to discuss release scope andor roadblocks Leading coordinating Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. Managing risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Measuring and monitoring progress with weekly release reporting Communicating all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes between different teams at different locations Collaborating with business and technical teams to negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Maintaining release repository and key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists We are looking to bring a Release Manager in to help us manage a backlog of work that will take at least six months to clear. The most critical work streams will be the focus for the rest of this year. We are still working remotely and our team is fully engaged so we need someone who can join the group, quickly build rapport with stakeholders build native knowledge to make an impact quickly. This is not an engagement where you can ldquoramp uprdquo Release Management skills. This role will demand recent experience in a dedicated Release Manager role working with a high velocity CICD pipelines in a Scrum setting.
