Experis is hiring a Resource Allocation Manager for our client based in the Denver metro. The RAM is responsible for providing support for PortfolioProgram Management in terms of report creation, report auditing, and client reporting. You’ll specialize in resource planning, forecasting and analysis for the purpose of optimizing throughput, and minimizing costs. A major portion of your role will be producing internal Capacity Reports, evaluating for accuracy, and working with resource managers across teams to ensure projected allocations are current in the tool Clarity (resources and hours effort). You will be accountable for learning, understanding and supporting PMO Policies and Procedures. Secondary responsibilities may include leading projects and coordinating team activities aimed at ‘project execution.’ You may also be called upon to contribute to the continuous improvement of project execution by assisting with the creation of process flows, evaluating portfolio health, and making recommendations for improvement or resolution. A day-in-the life might look like this . . . Lead a couple meetings (3 large) 50 analysis and working with managers 25 hostingprepping meetings Planimprove, other responsibilities, train team members REQUIREMENTS Professional, polished and tactful persona to interact with high level clients Large-scale programproject management experience (although there are no PM functions involved in this role) Prior experience producing internal capacity reports If not previously held a Resource Allocation title, then minimally an understanding of the concepts of resource allocation is required Experience as a trainer, or prior training experience, to instruct managersdirectors on proper resource allocation MS Office Suite Strong MS Excel – Pivot tables and charts Jira-so that’s helpful. Clarity experience is beneficial Jira is also helpful This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
