Build your career with West Liberty Foods and be a part of an exciting, collaborative team environment We are currently hiring for: Job Title Tier 1 Service Desk Job Summary: Tier 1 Desk Support is designed to provide tier one IT support. Primary Responsibilities Provide technical support for network, PCs and printers, and other IT hardware and software. Troubleshooting and researching problems for users. Recording and maintaining inventory of hardware and software. Documentation and implementation of West Liberty Foods IT policies and procedures. Setup and remove users on Window and Linux servers and the phone system. Provide end-user training and support on hardware and software issues., both in person and remotely Document new procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency within the department when handling repeat problems. Move phones and computers as employees relocate within the office. Provide training, service and support to both local and remote locations as needed. Interaction with all internal departments, consultants, and outside support staff and material vendors. On site requisitioning of IT-related equipment and supplies. Perform other related duties or special projects. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a multiple server environment using Active Directory structures. Strong analytical, problem solving skills. Customer focused approach to projects. Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to use power tools.
